Northern California Car Service Rates
How Irydn prices private chauffeured transportation across Sonoma County, the Napa Valley, Marin, San Francisco, and the Sacramento region — flat-rate for transfers, hourly for wine tours and as-directed days, and quoted upfront either way.
How Our Pricing Works
Irydn runs two pricing models, and which one applies depends on the shape of the trip rather than the vehicle. A run from one address to another is flat-rate. A day where the chauffeur stays with you — a wine tour, a roadshow, a wedding schedule — is hourly with a daily minimum. You are quoted before you book in both cases, and the number does not move afterward.
- Quoted upfront, not metered. Your rate is set by vehicle class plus either the route or the hours — never by a running meter or a demand multiplier.
- All-inclusive. Tolls, fuel, and standard wait time are already built into the quote. No fuel surcharge appears later, and the Golden Gate toll is not a line item you discover at the end.
- No surge, ever. A five-in-the-morning SFO departure and a harvest-weekend Saturday are priced the same way as a quiet Tuesday. That is the reason to book ahead rather than open a rideshare app.
Airport & Point-to-Point: Flat Rate
Transfers to and from SFO, OAK, SMF, and STS — and any single-leg trip between two addresses — are quoted as one flat, all-inclusive rate. Tell us the pickup, the destination, the time, and how many people and bags are travelling, and you get the full number before you commit. It covers the vehicle, your chauffeur, tolls, fuel, and standard wait time.
Flight tracking is standard on every airport booking at no extra charge, so if your arrival slips an hour the pickup moves with it rather than the wait becoming your problem. Long connector runs — Sacramento to Napa through the Carneros gap, San Francisco up to Healdsburg — are priced the same way: one number, agreed before departure.
Wine Tours & Hourly As-Directed: Hourly with a Daily Minimum
A tasting day is not a transfer. Appointments run long, lunch in wine country runs longer, and a fixed price would either shortchange you or pad the quote to cover the risk. So wine tours and any as-directed day — a multi-stop business schedule, a wedding day, an evening out — are billed hourly with a daily minimum. The hourly rate covers the vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, and wait time at every stop, and the chauffeur stays with you between stops instead of being dispatched away.
Tasting fees are separate and are paid directly to the wineries. We never mark them up or pass them through our invoice — that is standard practice in Napa and Sonoma, and it means the money you spend on tastings is the money the winery charges.

We don't publish a rate card, because the honest answer depends on your route, your hours, and your group. Tell us the trip below and we'll come back with a specific number — or call dispatch on (415) 237-0073, answered 24/7. You can also make a reservation directly.
Gratuity policy: gratuity is not automatically added to your quote and is entirely at your discretion. It is customary to tip a chauffeur for good service; corporate accounts can have it handled through their billing arrangement so nothing needs settling at the curb.
Quoted upfront, all-inclusive chauffeured transportation across Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sonoma, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga, Marin, San Francisco, and the Sacramento region — under California PUC charter-party permit TCP 0039081A.
