Northern California Black Car Service · CPUC TCP 0039081A
The northernmost city in Sonoma County — far enough out that distance stops being a detail and starts deciding how the day should be booked.
Why Cloverdale chooses Irydn
Cloverdale is the northernmost city in Sonoma County and the last town on US-101 before the Mendocino County line, which makes it the farthest regular pickup in our footprint. That is not a boast and it is not a warning; it is an arithmetic problem worth explaining honestly, because distance is the one variable that genuinely changes how a Cloverdale booking should be structured. The town sits at the point where US-101 meets SR-128, and that junction is the crossing west into the Anderson Valley and on toward the Mendocino coast — the longest single transfer we run out of the county.
Cloverdale carries ZIP 95425, has its own general-aviation field in Cloverdale Municipal Airport, a compact civic centre at the Cloverdale Plaza, and the Russian River running past the end of First Street. The commercial airports are all a distance: STS is 35 to 48 minutes south, SFO 100 to 125, OAK 105 to 130, and SMF 120 to 145. Irydn covers Cloverdale from its Petaluma base under California PUC charter-party carrier permit TCP 0039081A, commercially insured, with background-checked professional chauffeurs and a fleet running from a mid-size luxury SUV up to a twenty-four-seat Luxury Bus. Dispatch answers (415) 237-0073 at any hour, which up here is not a slogan so much as a requirement.
Our FleetLuxury SUVs to 24-Passenger Buses
From a Mid-Size Luxury SUV for a solo SFO run to a Luxury Bus carrying 24 for a wedding block or a corporate offsite, Irydn matches every Cloverdale trip to the right vehicle — each one late-model, commercially insured, and driven by a background-checked professional chauffeur under California PUC permit TCP 0039081A.

Fast Facts
Typical drive time from Cloverdale
Estimates reflect off-peak conditions via US-101 at SR-128. Bay Area bridge and commute traffic may extend transit time; flight-tracked pickups adjust automatically.
Local pickup coverage
We plan each Cloverdale ride around the actual pickup address, not just the city name. For airport transportation, dispatch usually builds around US-101 at SR-128 and an off-peak run to Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County (STS) of about 35–48 minutes. Add gate codes, hotel entrances, winery appointment times, or venue notes when booking so your chauffeur can arrive at the right door the first time.

Why Choose Us
The last town on US-101 before the Mendocino County line, and the farthest regular pickup in our footprint.
We tell you whether your day should be hourly or two flat-rate transfers before quoting it. From this far out, the shape matters.
The crossing west through the Yorkville Highlands to Boonville and Philo — the longest single transfer we run out of the county.
Against 100–125 to SFO. Sonoma County's airport is worth a connection from here more than from almost anywhere.
A real airfield with no scheduled service. Relevant for private arrivals, irrelevant if you are buying a ticket.
Repeated positioning runs make no sense at this distance. We keep the vehicle with the group and take everyone home at the end.
Drive north on US-101 past Healdsburg and Geyserville and the freeway keeps going for a while after most visitors assume Sonoma County has run out. Cloverdale is where it stops being wine-country scenery and starts being the edge of something else: the hills close in from the west, the traffic thins, and the next exits belong to Mendocino County. The town itself is small and self-contained — the Cloverdale Plaza and the blocks around it hold the civic and commercial life of the place, and the Russian River passes at the end of First Street, considerably narrower here than it is by the time it reaches the coast. Twenty minutes south, Healdsburg is doing brisk business with visitors; Cloverdale is not, and most people who live here regard that as the arrangement working correctly. For us it means the town is quieter to work in, parking is not a negotiation, and the only complication about a Cloverdale booking is the one this page exists to explain.
Two pricing structures exist and the right one for Cloverdale depends entirely on the shape of your day. A point-to-point transfer is flat-rate and quoted upfront: one leg, one number, settled before you travel regardless of how the traffic behaves. Hourly as-directed service, which is also how tasting days are billed, carries a daily minimum and keeps the vehicle and chauffeur with you for the whole block of time. Anywhere closer to our Petaluma base, you can choose between them fairly casually. From Cloverdale you should not. If the vehicle is going to be released and re-summoned several times across a day, each of those legs is a long positioning run, and the honest advice is that you will get a better day and usually a better deal by holding the vehicle hourly instead. If it is genuinely one leg out and one leg back with nothing in between — a flight, a single dinner — then two flat-rate transfers are the cleaner structure. Tell us what the day looks like and we will say which shape fits rather than quoting the one that suits us.
The junction at Cloverdale is where US-101 hands off to SR-128, and taking it is one of the more committed drives we do. The road climbs west out of the valley through the Yorkville Highlands, drops into the Anderson Valley at Boonville, and carries on through Philo and Navarro before eventually reaching the Mendocino coast. It is beautiful and it is slow — two lanes, continuous curves, and a habit of taking closer to an hour than the mileage suggests to reach Boonville. Groups underestimate it every time. The Anderson Valley is worth the crossing, particularly for anyone whose interest runs to cool-climate Pinot Noir and Alsatian varieties that Sonoma County does not do the same way, but it needs to be the day rather than an appendix to one. We run this transfer regularly and will build genuine time into the schedule instead of quietly assuming the road behaves like the freeway you were just on. If the group is continuing to the coast, plan on the drive being a substantial share of the daylight.
Cloverdale Municipal Airport sits just outside town and it is a general-aviation field — no scheduled commercial service — which matters if your party is arriving by private or charter aircraft and matters not at all if you are buying a ticket. For scheduled flights, STS at 35 to 48 minutes is the airport that makes sense from here whenever it flies your route, and the gap to everything else is large enough to change your trip: SFO is 100 to 125 minutes, OAK 105 to 130, and SMF 120 to 145. Those Bay Area numbers are honest off-peak figures and they are longer at commute hours. A transfer of that length is precisely the one worth handing over rather than doing in a rental after a long flight — an hour and three quarters in a Large Luxury SUV with the luggage stowed and somebody else managing the Marin corridor is a different arrival entirely. Every airport transfer is flat-rate whatever the distance, and every booking is flight-tracked, so an inbound delay moves the pickup without a phone call.
Cloverdale is not the reason most people come to northern Sonoma, and the tasting here reflects that in the best way. Asti Winery lies south of town on the way toward Geyserville, Fritz Underground Winery is a short run west into the hills, and Sbragia Family Vineyards is over toward the Dry Creek side. These are unhurried appointments — the pace up here is not the pace of a plaza tasting room on a Saturday, and for a lot of guests that difference is the whole point of driving this far north. What we would not recommend is trying to attach Cloverdale to a day that also includes the southern half of the county; that is a driving day with tastings in it rather than a tasting day. Pick the north end, keep the list short, and let the appointments run long. Tours are billed hourly against a daily minimum, and tasting fees are paid to each winery at their own price with nothing added by us.
Cloverdale's own calendar centres on the Plaza and on the Cloverdale Citrus Fair, a long-standing community event that fills the town for a weekend and is a fair bit larger than a place this size would suggest. Event work here follows the same rule as everything else on this page: because almost nobody is arriving from around the corner, the sensible structure is one vehicle held for the whole day and evening rather than a series of loops. The Luxury Sprinter Van with eleven captain's chairs is what most groups end up in, the Sprinter Passenger Van carries fourteen, and the Luxury Bus takes twenty-four with a PA system for coordinators. Two to six guests ride in a mid-size or large luxury SUV. Those five classes are the whole fleet, and on a day this long that focus is a feature — every one of them is built to still be comfortable in the fourth hour. Dispatch is staffed around the clock because the drive south from here after dark is the leg you booked us for.
Cloverdale is the farthest regular pickup in our footprint, and that changes which of our two pricing structures makes sense. Point-to-point transfers are flat-rate and quoted upfront; as-directed days and wine tours are hourly against a daily minimum. Neither is universally better — the shape of your day decides it, and this is how we advise on it.
| The day you are planning | How we would usually structure it | Why that shape fits |
|---|---|---|
| One airport leg, in or out | Flat-rate point-to-point transfer, quoted upfront | A single long run with a fixed number, unaffected by how the traffic behaves on the day |
| Out and back with the vehicle released between | Two flat-rate transfers | Clean when there is genuinely nothing in the middle — a flight, or one dinner and home |
| A tasting day at the north end of the county | Hourly with a daily minimum | Appointments run long and the vehicle waits; releasing and re-summoning it here means repeated long positioning runs |
| The SR-128 crossing into the Anderson Valley | Hourly, planned as a full day | The drive itself is most of the commitment, so the vehicle needs to stay with the group throughout |
| An evening out with several stops | Hourly as-directed | Nobody wants to wait on a car between a restaurant and the Plaza at this end of the county |
| A wedding or Citrus Fair weekend | Quoted as a package across the whole block | Multiple movements over consecutive days, coordinated on one schedule with a single point of contact |

Flight tracking is standard on every airport booking, so pickup shifts automatically when your arrival does. Curbside or a meet-and-greet at baggage claim, in a mid-size luxury SUV for one to four, a large SUV when there are checked bags, or a Sprinter for a whole arriving group. Flat-rate and quoted upfront: tolls, fuel, and standard wait time already included.
Get a Quote for Airport Transfers — SFO, OAK, SMF & STS from CloverdaleCloverdale black car service built around business travel and corporate accounts.
Late-model luxury SUVs and background-checked professional chauffeurs for client pickups, roadshows, board travel, and conference blocks across Northern Sonoma County. Corporate accounts get priority dispatch during the windows that genuinely tighten — harvest season, conference weeks, dawn airport departures — plus consolidated monthly invoicing with trip-level detail instead of a pile of receipts. One operator across wine country, the Bay Area, and the capital region. Licensed under California PUC charter-party permit TCP 0039081A.
Get a Quote for Corporate & Executive Black CarGroup movements across Northern Sonoma County — weddings, offsites, and event shuttles.
The executive Sprinter seats up to eleven, the Sprinter passenger van up to fourteen, and the luxury bus up to twenty-four — most wedding weekends and corporate offsites end up as a mix of all three. We handle the whole shape of it: airport blocks arriving across an afternoon from four different airports, hotel-to-venue shuttle loops, a tasting afternoon in the middle of the agenda, and departure runs at the end. One schedule, one point of contact, one invoice.
Get a Quote for Weddings, Events & Group TransportationBy the hour, with your chauffeur and vehicle waiting between stops.
The right structure any time you have more than two stops: a multi-stop Cloverdale business day, a tasting itinerary, a wedding-day schedule, or an evening out. The vehicle and chauffeur stay with you rather than being dispatched away and re-booked, so a meeting running twenty minutes long does not turn into a wait for a car. Billed hourly with a daily minimum, quoted upfront — no surge multipliers, in whichever vehicle class fits your party.

A single leg, quoted flat-rate before you book: a hotel run into San Francisco, dinner in Healdsburg, a Golden 1 Center event in Sacramento, or one of the long connector trips other operators decline — Sacramento to Napa through the Carneros gap, San Francisco to the northern Sonoma appellations. Tolls, fuel, and standard wait time are already in the number, and it does not change because traffic did.
Get a Quote for Point-to-Point TransportationWhy Choose Us
From every Cloverdale address to SFO, OAK, SMF, and STS — and every Northern Sonoma County destination in between — we deliver chauffeured transport built on a licensed fleet, career chauffeurs, and flat-rate quotes given before you book.
Irydn operates under California PUC permit TCP 0039081A — a credential you can look up on the CPUC carrier register before you book. Commercially insured, with every vehicle and chauffeur covered for passenger transport. Ask any Cloverdale operator for their TCP number; the ones who can't produce it aren't licensed to carry you.
A mid-size luxury SUV for couples and solo executives, a large luxury SUV when there's real luggage, an executive Sprinter with captain's chairs for tasting days, a Sprinter passenger van for full teams, and a luxury bus for wedding blocks and offsites. One company, one call — no subcontracting the vehicle you actually booked.
Career chauffeurs, not rideshare drivers. Every one is background-checked, licensed, and trained in hospitality and Cloverdale routes — which winery gates take an extra ten minutes, which hotel entrance the vehicle actually fits. The standard is identical no matter which Irydn vehicle pulls up.
Airport and point-to-point transfers are flat-rate and quoted before you book — tolls, fuel, and standard wait time included. No surge, no meter, no bridge-traffic surcharge. Wine tours are hourly with a daily minimum, because a tasting day isn't a transfer and a fixed price would either shortchange the day or pad the quote.
Every SFO, OAK, SMF, and STS pickup is flight-tracked in real time, so your chauffeur is curbside whether you land early, late, or diverted. Dispatch answers the phone around the clock at (415) 237-0073 — dawn departures, red-eye arrivals, and overnight runs included.
Smoke-free, late-model, commercially insured vehicles backed by corporate account management, consolidated billing, and the discretion executive and group clients expect. One invoice, one point of contact, every ride documented.
Cloverdale is the last Sonoma County town on US-101 before Mendocino, and the turn onto SR-128 here is the crossing into Anderson Valley — the longest single transfer we run inside the county.
Step-by-step
A six-step walkthrough of the booking flow, from entering your Cloverdale pickup address to confirming a flat-rate quote with live flight tracking — or building a wine-country itinerary instead.
Start at /reservation/ and enter the full Cloverdale address — residential, corporate campus, hotel, inn, or winery. We pick up regularly near Cloverdale Municipal Airport, the Cloverdale Plaza, the Russian River at First Street.
Northern California is a multi-airport market, so pick the airport that actually fits your itinerary. From Cloverdale the usual choice is Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County (STS), typically about 35–48 minutes off-peak via US-101 at SR-128. Building a tasting day instead? Enter your first winery and we'll route the rest.
Pick the vehicle that fits the group: a mid-size luxury SUV (up to 4), a large luxury SUV (up to 6), an executive Sprinter van with captain's chairs (up to 11), a Sprinter passenger van (up to 14), or a luxury bus (up to 24). Every vehicle is late-model, commercially insured, and operated by a background-checked professional chauffeur under California PUC permit TCP 0039081A.
Curbside airport pickup is standard and included in your flat-rate Cloverdale quote. Meet & Greet inside baggage claim with a name placard and luggage assistance is an optional add-on — worth it for long-haul arrivals into SFO or OAK. Wine tours can include cooler storage and glassware on request. For tasting days, Asti Winery, Fritz Underground Winery, Sbragia Family Vineyards are all on our regular Cloverdale rotation — send us the list and we'll sequence it.
Your Cloverdale rate is quoted upfront — flat-rate and all-inclusive for transfers, hourly with a daily minimum for tours. No surge, no metered fares, no hidden fees. Tolls, fuel, and standard wait time are built in.
Complete your Cloverdale booking online in minutes or call our 24/7 dispatch line. You'll get an instant email confirmation with trip details, and your chauffeur's contact info the day of the trip.
